Tinubu Assures Nigerians: Don’t worry about inflation, we’ll bring it down

President Bola Tinubu has offered reassurance to Nigerians, pledging to tackle the country’s economic challenges, particularly the rising inflation rate.

Addressing the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council during the 2024 Ramadan Iftar at the State House in Abuja, Tinubu acknowledged the concerns surrounding inflation but affirmed his commitment to addressing the issue.

While acknowledging the absence of a “magic wand,” Tinubu emphasized the importance of hard work and dedication in navigating the country out of its economic predicament. He reaffirmed his campaign promise of hope and stressed the need for collective efforts to achieve tangible results.

Tinubu asserted, “I campaigned on hope, I have to rest on that hope, and push for that hope for the joy of every one of us. The economy is looking good, don’t worry about that.”

Addressing the specific challenge of inflation, Tinubu assured Nigerians that his administration is actively working to bring it down.

He highlighted ongoing efforts to reengineer revenue generation and emphasized the importance of reclaiming Nigeria’s sovereignty and respect on the global stage.
