Tems says O2 Arena episode won’t change her love for Wizkid

Nigerian singer, Temilade Openiyi, fondly called Tems has responded to a controversial video of her senior colleague, Ayodeji Balogun, better known as Wizkid, trying to lift her up at his concert at the O2 Arena.

The video, which went viral on Thursday night after his performance in London, had Wizkid holding Tems while she tried to remove his hands.

The ‘Essence’ crooner was trying to lift the singer up during their performance on the third day of his ‘Made in Lagos’ concert in London.

However, the video has got people talking on social media as some persons accused the father of three of trespass and sexual harassment.

Also, while people mocked Wizkid for trying to lift Tems who is bigger than him in size.

The singer has spoken her mind on the matter.

According to her, Wizkid is her brother and she would want everyone to know he is human.

Tems said: “All I’m going to say Wizkid is my brother, someone I look up to and I’m grateful for everything he’s done and his existence.

“I want you guys to remember that he’s human. I’m human and I love him, that’s not going to change, the love I have for him is not going to change.”
