Iretiola Olusola Doyle, a well-known actress and presenter, has officially declared her separation from veteran broadcaster, Patrick Doyle.
We are officially divorced, Ireti revealed in an interview with well-known media personality, Chude Jideonwo.
The actress clarified the misconception that she had her first child at age 17 while exploring her life’s path. She claimed to be 19 years old.
She highlighted that she had no business with marriage when she became a mother, going on to describe how she had experienced physical and domestic violence as a teen.
“The truth of the matter is that I had no business being married at that time, talk less of going to the choice of who I got married to,” she said.
Sharing the interview video on her Instagram page, the actress wrote, “We are officially divorced.”
The filmmaker had moved out from her husband’s house to her apartment at Anthony Village in Lagos.
