He bemoaned the challenges voters are facing as they try to pick up their ballots at INEC centres around the nation.
Videos of eligible voters sobbing over the way some INEC employees treat them.
The commission’s staff members who even go as far as collecting money before handing them the cards have surfaced online.
The father of one shared a video of various Nigerians protesting their inability to pick up their Permanent Voters’ Cards, PVCs, from their respective zones on Instagram.
According to the role interpreter, INEC cannot disenfranchise people and expect a free and fair election.
He bemoaned the fact that most registered voters are informed by INEC workers that their PVCs are either “not ready” or “cannot be located.”
“I hope INEC is ready for what is coming.” Uchemba wrote.
He pleaded with the electoral supervisor to take the necessary action to put the situation in order.
