Portable warns TG Omori not to visit Sango, Lekki

Prominent music director and cinematographer, ThankGod Omori Smith, also known as TG Omori or Boy Director, has been cautioned not to visit the Lekki area of Lagos State or Sango by a Nigerian artist, Habeeb Okikiola, a.k.a. Portable.

Following persistent criticism on social media, Omori caved in to Portable’s demands on Tuesday to shoot his video.

In order for him to make the video, TG Omori instructed Portable to submit him a song, but he hasn’t said whether the $50k cost will be waived or if it will be done for free.

The pair started an Instagram live session after the engagement. While pleading for help, Portable berated the director for not liking him again and complained about TG Omori’s exorbitant fees.

Then, jokingly stating that there would be a fight if they met, he warned the music director not to travel to Lekki or Sango for his own safety.

The singer, however, questioned why the director had an attitude toward him and said that he should have kept up his provocative behaviour to see what would have happened.

LTG Omori responded to the Zazzu singer and said that it wasn’t personal and that his main goal was to make money.

It could be recalled that earlier last month, the video director  had asked Portable for $50,000 (more than N22 million) for a video shoot, which enraged the singer who queried as to whether the director also made videos for ghosts.
