In a significant development, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has officially confirmed the appointment of Adolphus Wabara, a former President of the Senate, as the substantive chairman of the party’s Board of Trustees (BoT).
This announcement follows the conclusion of the 76th BoT meeting held at Wadata Plaza in Abuja on Tuesday.
Alongside Wabara’s confirmation, another notable appointment was made as the former Governor of Kaduna State, Ahmed Makarfi, was named the BoT Secretary. This move marks a transition, with Makarfi taking over from the former Minister of Special Duties, Kabir Turaki.
These appointments signify a strategic reshuffling within the PDP’s leadership, with the party looking to leverage the experience and expertise of individuals like Wabara and Makarfi to strengthen its position and navigate the political landscape.
