Our Lady’s High School Onitsha mourns Prof Ofojebe passing

The Our Lady’s High School Onitsha Old Students Association is saddened to announce the passing of Rev. Fr. Prof. Wenceslaus Ofojebe.

In a statement released by the President General, Dr. Noble Oguguo, and Secretary, Mr. John Okafor, it was revealed that Prof. Ofojebe passed away on April 29, 2024, after a brief illness.

A distinguished member of the alumni association, Prof. Ofojebe was not only an intellectual giant but also an esteemed alumnus of Our Lady’s High School Onitsha.

His contributions to education and his unwavering commitment to his faith left an indelible mark on the school and the community at large.

Throughout his career, Prof. Ofojebe served as a faculty member at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, where he shared his knowledge and expertise with countless students.

Additionally, he dedicated his life to the Catholic Church as a revered Priest of the Diocese of Ekwulobia, embodying the values of compassion, service, and faith.

The funeral arrangements for Prof. Ofojebe will be conducted according to the schedule outlined by the Secretariat of the Catholic Diocese of Ekwulobia.

As the Our Lady’s High School Onitsha community mourns the loss of one of its own, they offer prayers for the repose of his soul and for the comfort of his loved ones during this difficult time.

May the soul of Rev. Fr. Prof. Wenceslaus Ofojebe, and the souls of all the faithful departed, rest in peace.
