The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, has introduced his wife, Opeoluwa Elizabeth Akinmuda, to the public. The monarch, who recently married his sixth wife in May, is preparing to officially welcome her into the Royal Palace of Oodua in Ile-Ife.
Invitations for the Thanksgiving service and reception for the new queen have been sent out, and prominent guests are expected to attend the grand event. The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 20, 2023.
Prior to the main event, there will be a traditional entry of the Queen into the historic Ife Oodua Palace of Ile-Ife on Thursday.
The couple reportedly exchanged vows on May 10, 2023.
As of now, the palace has not issued an official statement regarding this development.
It should be noted that Oba Enitan Adeyeye is already married to five other women: Olori Mariam, Olori Tobi Phillips Ogunwusi, Princess Ashley Adegoke, Princess Ronke Ademiluyi, and Temitope Adesegun.
