The grand finale of the 90th birthday and 24th coronation anniversary of His Royal Highness, the Olu of Idofoi, Ayetoro Yewa in Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun State, Oba Olatunji Abioro, will hold on Sunday, August 20, 2023.
According to the Programme of Events released by the Birthday/Coronation Anniversary Committee of the Idofoi monarch, the events for the celebrations, which will include his 90th birthday and 24th Coronation, including his 20th year of Baaleship and four years of Obaship, will be brought to a close with a church service on August 20 at the Idagba Baptist Church, Ayetoro, at 9am prompt.
But before the grand finale for the anniversary, there will be a Muslim Thanksgiving prayer at the Idofoi Cultural Centre on Friday, August 18, 2023 at 9am prompt.
This will be followed same day by the conferment of chieftaincy titles on deserving sectional leaders (Orile Idofoi) at 11:00am.
The conferment of chieftaincy titles on deserving sons of Idofoi community will continue on Saturday, August 19, 2023, from 9:00am prompt.
The grand finale of the events will be a Thanksgiving Service at the Idagba Baptist Church, Ayetoro, Yewa at 9:00am prompt, while reception follows after the church service at the Olu of Idofoi’s Private Palace, 7, Yidi Road, Idagba, Ayetoro Yewa, Ogun State.
The Father of the Day on the occasion is His Royal Highness, Alaye of Ayetoro Yewa, Oba (Alhaji) Azeez Isola Adelakun, while the Mother of the Day will be the Iyaloja of Yewa, Alhaja Oluyemisi Abass.
The Star Guest of the Day is the Senator representing Ogun West, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi.
