Olamide, Teni, others make Boomplay’s 2021 most streamed artistes

Popular Nigerian musicians, Olamide Adedeji, fondly called Olamide, gospel singer Tope Alabi, Stanley Omah Didia, better known as Omah Lay, and a host of others have made the Boomplay’s most-streamed artists.

Boomplay is a music streaming service, and has published the most streamed artiste and songs from November 1, 2020, to October 31, 2021, in Nigeria.

Afropop star, Olamide was declared as the most-streamed male artiste followed by Omah Lay as the second position, followed by Burna Boy as third place.

Also, the top female artiste was Teniola Apata, known as Teni, followed by Tope Alabi while Mercy Chinwo was third.

In the most searched artist category, Bella Shmurda came first with Davido and Naira Marley coming second and third respectively.

Joeboy’s Sip (Alcohol) which had one of the most viral challenges in 2021 came third on fast-rising songs to hit one million streams.
