Senator Monday Okpebholo has been declared winner of the Edo All Progressives Congress governorship primary election.
Cross River State Governor Bassey Otu, who was the Chairman of Edo APC primary poll, declared Okpebholo after collating the results from the 18 local government areas.
Okpebholo scored 12,433 votes to defeat Dennis Idahosa, who polled 6,541 votes.
The collation and declaration took place at Lushville Hotel and Suites, Gapiona Avenue, Government Reservation Area (GRA), Benin.
