All roads will lead to Equity Resorts and Suites, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, on January 9, 2022, when some distinguished “Ogo Ijebu” personalities, will be honoured with the Genius Merit Award.
Some of the awardees include Otunba Abiodun Ogidan, Owoseeni, Lase, ( Engr) Lukmon Babatunde Rufai, Hon Onamusi Onadeko, HRM Oba Abimbola Akile, Hon Oluwadare Adegbemiga Idowu, Hon Wasiu Olawunmi, Hon Bidemi Badmus, Pastor Oladapo Moses, Sheik Abdulsalam Ademola, Prince Olusoji Idowu Soewu (Isele Nla) and others.
Organisers of the Merit Awards stated that the personalities were considered worthy of the honours after due assessments of their individual activities and invaluable contributions to the society.
According to the organisers, the awardees have distinguished themselves in their various fields and endeavours, including philanthropy, education, politics, media, promotion of culture and others.
The Award events, which will hold under the eminent chairmanships of His Royal Highness, Oba Abayomi Banjo, Olokinne of Ojowo,Ijebu Igbo, will also be graced by other royal fathers, business moguls and captains of industries.
