Few hours after the Edo State House of Assembly impeached former deputy governor Phillip Shaibu, Governor, Godwin Obaseki has appointed a 38-year-old engineer, Omobayo Godwin, as his replacement and is set to inaugurate him.
The panel set up for Shaibu’s impeachment proceedings alleged that the former deputy gov was sacked for leaking the state government’s secrets.
