Kyari, acting APC Nat’l Chair ratifies Barr Idris as Adamawa substantive party Chairman

All is being laid to rest as the acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Sen Abubakar Kyari has ratified Barrister Idris Shuaibu as the Adamawa State substantive party Chairman.

Kyari received in audience Adamawa party officials and reconciled the leadership of the party by confirming to all present that Idris remains the party Chairman while Elder Tadawus, who was the state Chairman in acting capacity, is to maintain his office as the Vice Chairman (South).

The visit by the Adamawa APC officials led by Idris is to portray his acceptance speech during his oath of office taken in Yola while he promised to hit the ground running by taking a giant step to reconcile aggrieved members, consult widely with all stakeholders for a way forward that will ensure peace and harmony of the party.

The EXCOS were all in Abuja and visited Kyari alongside National Vice Chairman, Comrade Mustapha Salihu, National, Zonal and the decided to make Adamawa APC an undivided party.

But the unity and harmony, progress and development of the party are the issues emphasized by the national chairman.

Idris confirmed to this medium that they are in Abuja primarily to chart forward the party that has suffered many injuries from the internal crisis over the years .

He said the party is now moving in the right direction as an ongoing visit to all relevant stakeholders is cementing the bartered relationship between party faithfuls.

According to him the consultations are yielding positive results as assurances by many to work and serve the party he keeps getting.

“There is harmony in our party now. As you can see from the photos we sent, all of us today are together in one accord including our Elder, Chief Samaila Tadawus who was there in an acting capacity.

“With this, I assure you that our party will take over Adamawa State by collecting what rightfully belongs to us. ” Idris
