Presidential Candidate of of New Nigeria People’s Party, Rabi’u Kwankwaso, has cast his vote, expressing confidence in recording victory.
Kwankwaso said the huge turnout of his home supporters without much presence of security at his Tandu 1 Polling Unit was an indication that Kano people are peaceful.
He voted around 11:40am.
When the NNPP presidential flagbearear arrived at the secondary school where his polling unit is located, he initially went to a different polling unit as there are about six polling units on the premises.
INEC staff later redirected him to the right PU where he voted.
