Principal Private Secretary to the Kaduna State Governor, Prof Bello Ayubato, has said that the primary focus of Governor Uba Sani is the advancement of all sectors within the state in order to take it higher and bigger than how he met.

Prof Ayuba who interacted with journalists in Bauchi over the weekend at the NUJ Press Centre, noted there are visible developmental improvements of the strata of society within the last few months of the Governor’s relatively short tenure.

To further buttress the simple nature of his Principal, the PPS said, “I am telling you categorically that Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has not placed an order for official cars in his fleet since his assumption of office on May 29th, 2023.”

According to him, “He has been using the official vehicles he inherited from the previous administrations. For his personal use, he is still using the car he used as a Senator. His concern is how to better the lives of people of the state.”

He said that the Governor’s decision not to procure new luxury cars for official use is part of his commitment to directing limited resources available to Government towards enhancing the welfare of Kaduna citizens and other residents.

According to him, “Over 70 per cent of the 2024 Budget of Kaduna State is allocated to capital expenditure. The plan is to develop the state to an enviable status, better than what is now.”

He stressed that, “The Governor came to work for the people, not to enjoy the comfort of office, his intention is to provide quality governance like never before. Kaduna state is lucky to have him on the seat.”

The PPS assured that, “As the administration is building infrastructure across the state, human development too will not be pushed aside, the two will go together.”

He then solicited for support and cooperation of the people of the state stressing that without such, it would be difficult for the Governor to achieve his goals and objectives.
