Suspected gunmen on Monday kidnapped a Catholic priest, Revd Father Ajayi Joseph, of the Ondo Diocese of the Church.
Father Joseph, who was traveling in his car, was said to have been abducted by the suspected gunmen along Akure-Ikere road.
It was learnt that the priest was taken away by his abductors in his car.
As of Wednesday morning, Father Joseph’s abductors had yet to reach out to the authorities of the Diocese to demand ransom.
