Enugu State Broadcasting Service headquarters has been gutted by fire.
The building located at the Independence Layout near Agric Bank Junction caught fire on Tuesday morning.
As of the time this report was filed, the cause of the fire, which completely destroyed the newsroom and presenters office, was still unknown.
FirstNews learnt that an HD Cameras and computer laptop of one of the staff was burnt to ashes.
It was further learnt that the fire started soon after the station was opened for the early morning broadcast and a generator was put on around 5.30am to 6.00am.
The quick response of the state Fire Service, stopped the fire from gutting the entire station.
