Leader of the All Progressive Congress in Orhionmwon Local Government Chapter and Edo State Representative on the board of the Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC; Rt. Hon. Patrick Aisowieren weekend received over a hundred decampees from PDP and Labour Party in Igbanke East Ward.
The decampees who comprised of 8 leaders and over a hundred other opposition party members were led by one of the foremost leader of the PDP in the ward Chief Ohimi Ogbe alias Man Pass Man.
Other leaders include popular musician Chief One Nigeria Eluehike, Barr. Ngozi Ogbomo, Mr. Goodluck Uche, Mr. Osaretin Igbinedion, Mr. Ngozi Uzoka (who is a founding member of the PDP in the ward) amongst others including women and youth mobilizers.
Chief Ohimi Ogbe alias Man Pass Man who spoke on behalf of the decampees said they made a mistake by leaving APC to the PDP prior to 2020 election.
The popular Igbanke politician who expressed regrets that PDP failed in all its campaign promises to Igbanke people apologized for his wrong step and said they were returning home to the APC.
Aisowieren while receiving them promised fair and equal treatment for all members of the APC.
In his words “We don’t have treatment for new and old members in the APC. Everyone is treated fairly and equally according to his or her dedication and commitment to the party”
The Edo NDDC Representative also promised to implement life incisive projects in the ward including street lights, roads, supply of more transformers, empowerments, employments and many more as a reward for the loyalty of Igbanke APC members.
They were all issued APC membership cards by Chairman of the ward Chief Victor Nwanbi Eluehike.
Prince Lucky Igbinedion, Mr. Monday Ashien, Mr. Celestine Ugbe, Chief Celestine Adozi, Chief Stephen Usiagwu, Mr Bello Nkeki, Mr. Okwueze, Mr. Ngbeken Peter, Mrs Mercy Igharo, Mr. Friday Ikubor, Mr. Amechi Okonkwo, Mr. Adenomo Sunday, Mr. Anthony Kashari and Mr. Oriei Edobor were some of the Igbanke East APC leaders that graced the event.
Also, from the local government level Mr. Martins Ozakpolor, Liberty Ruyi, Pullwest Aisowieren and Mr Ehigiator were some of the leaders who accompanied the Edo NDDC Commissioner to the event.
Aisowieren had late last year also received another batch of decampees mainly of PDP and Labour Party extraction from both Igbanke East and West Wards.
