Nigeria Centre for Disease Control said the country recorded no new COVID-19 death on Saturday.
It, however, announced that the country recorded 54 new infections in seven states and the Federal Capital Territory on Saturday.
Announcing this on its website on Sunday, the agency said that the 54 new infections recorded on Saturday indicated a decrease of 143 from the 197 cases recorded on Friday.
In the new infections, Lagos State recorded 25 cases, Oyo -11, FCT -6, Kwara -3, Rivers -3, Bauchi -2, Delta -2, Kano -1 and Ogun 1.
No new infection was recorded in Ekiti, Gombe, Ondo, Osun, Plateau, and Sokoto States.
Total national infections now stand at 214,567.
