Honourable Danlami Idris Mohammed, Executive Chairman of Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area of Nasarawa State has disclosed that continuing unity between elders of the state and those of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) is crucial for the growth and development of the state.
He made the statement to commemorate both Muslims for the successful completion of the Ramadan fast and Christians for the successful completion of lent by his people in Nasarawa Eggon and for they to tolerate one another irrespective of individual differences.
According to him, “The trio of former Governors: Abdullahi Adamu, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura and the incumbent Governor Abdullahi Sule would continue striving towards the growth and development of the state, which is blessed with human and solid mineral.
“I am calling on the people to ensure and sustain peace and tolerance for the benefit of the state being close to the Federal Capital, Abuja and gateway to many parts of Nigeria.
“I enjoin members of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) to continue to foster unity within the party considering the three leaders and other notable stakeholders who are leading the party to greater heights with dividend of democracy in the state.” He said.
Honourable Danlami Idris Mohammed, called on the three leaders to continue leading the party and avoid anybody who may like to sabotage or jeopardise their unique legacies of their unity.
The Politician said many states are suprised at the unity of these leaders, while in other states, the past and incumbent become adversaries few days after handing over ceremonies.
He said some states have multiple factions, while the APC is waxing stronger in Nasarawa State.
