…calls on President Tinubu to beam his searchlight on ex-Kano gov
The immediate past Governor of Kano State, Mallam Abdullahi Ganduje, has been described as the connecting rod for party leadership that the All Progressives Congress (APC) should better have at this time that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is shopping for the right man that will replace Abdullahi Adamu who willingly resigned.
This description was made by Adamawa APC chieftain, Hamisu Idris Medugu, who called on all relevant stakeholders within and outside the party to give Ganduje all the support in the interest of the party and the nation.
The Adamawa APC loyalist cast his mind back to when APC was newly formed through a merger process of many political parties and said the likes of Ganduje were the founding members that religiously followed the party manifestos.
Hamisu was a forefront APC Adamawa Southern Senatorial zone contender of the party and said his experience over the period the party had its primaries to the general election, that leadership defects were prominent, especially at state levels that need to be adequately addressed.
And that can be done through the party at the national level as the arrowhead of leadership.
According to him if people like Ganduje can be unanimously supported or unopposed endorsed to take the party’s leading role, APC will have a sigh of relief and void of party internal rancors, unnecessary crisis be far away from the party.
He said the party can achieve huge success with Ganduje in the national office of APC as Chairman because of his vast experience in handling party matters.
The Adamawa business mogul reiterated his support for Dr. Ganduje more so that the eyes of every party Man and Nigerians are on him and confirmed that only he can do it better for the party and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu should not look elsewhere or contemplate giving it to someone else.
Hamisu in an interview with our Yola Correspondent drummed support for the elder statesman and made a passionate call to all meaningful sons and Daughters of the party to draw the attention of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the glaring needs of Ganduje as the party national leader.
“The glaring reality is evident that APC needs Ganduje at this time a vacuum was created by Abdullahi Adamu’s decision to have willingly exited the party.
“With all I have and in me, I’m really in support of Ganduje to Champion a new course of our party in dire need of a better man who is good in party leadership to lead us right. ” Hamisu said
