A support group for the realisation of the gubernatorial ambition of the incumbent Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, codenamed Lucky Aiyedatiwa Campaign Organisation Foot Soldiers (LACO Foot Soldiers), has appointed State Officers/Directors.
Prominent among the newly appointed officers of the LACO Foot Soldiers is a renowned journalist and newspaper Editor, Kayode Fasua. Fasua is appointed as the State Director of Information for the organisation.
A statement by LACO Foot Soldiers also listed others appointees to include Hon. Mrs. Fola Vincent (State Director of Women Affairs), Hon. Kolawole Babatunde (State Director of Youth/Sports), Hon. Gbenga Atiba (State Director of Security), Hon. Amidu Takuro (State Director of Mobilisation), Hon. Olu Akinola (State Director of Legal), Prince Joseph Alade (State Director of Artisan/Union Matters) and Hon. Dare Aliu (State Director of Diaspora Affairs).
Others are Pastor Emmanuel Igbasan (State Deputy Director General South), Barr. Gbenga Olaniyi (State Deputy Director General Central) and Hon. Bisi Ogungbemi (State Deputy Director General North).
The statement added that the state officers were appointed “after a painstaking consideration of their antecedents and with due consultation with stakeholders…in order to fully activate the campaign activities and programme of Lucky Aiyedatiwa Campaign Organisation Foot Soldiers.”
The statement further said that Local Governments, Wards and Unit structures of the campaign organisations will soon be inaugurated.
