ADP defeats nine other parties in Plateau North Senatorial seat

Prince Pam Mwadkon Dachungyang , the Candidate of the Action Democratic party on Saturday defeated Nine others parties to emergef the Senator-elect for Plateau North Senatorial District.

Prince Mwadkwon pulled 122,442 Votes to beat the first runner-up, Yakub Muhammad Safiu of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) who secured 53,980 Votes.

Ambassador Christopher Musa Giwa got 39,132 votes, Barr. Gyang Zi pulled 33,243 votes while Hon. Suleiman Kwande secured 11,054 Votes.

The returning Officer for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Prof. Nestor Chagok in the earlier hours of Monday 5th February, 2024 declared Prince Pam Mwadkon Dachungyang of the ADP Winner of the Senate Election having scored the highest votes and met the necessary requirements.
