Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo, on Monday, dismissed the ambition of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.
Soludo said Obi would not win the 2023 presidential election.
Soludo, who is also a former Central Bank of Nigeria governor, lamented that a series of attacks and harassment have been launched against him following his statement about investments made by Obi during his tenure as the governor of Anambra State.
The Anambra governor in a statement, said that Obi is only playing a game.
His statement partly read, “Let’s be clear: Peter Obi knows that he can’t and won’t win.
“He knows the game he is playing, and we know too; and he knows that we know.
“Everyone knows that he is going nowhere, but they are looking for who to blame.”
Soludo added that only two persons/ political parties are in contention for president.
While wishing the Labour Party flagbearear well, Soludo prayed that either Obi or APGA’s Prof Umeadi wins the 2023 presidential election.
