Terrorists have released three victims of the Kaduna-bound train 24 hours after they released a disturbing video in which some of the captives were being flogged on Sunday.
It was learnt that the released passengers, including a female and two males, have been reunited with their families.
But it could not be ascertained if ransom was paid before the captives were set free by the terrorists.
Confirming the passengers’ release, Kaduna-based publisher and negotiator, Tukur Mamu, said, “Yes three victims have been released a female and two male. But remember I’m not part of the negotiation that led to their freedom.”
Mamu had recently announced his withdrawal from further negotiations, saying his life was being threatened.
