‘Ayinla’, a critically acclaimed film by Tunde Kelani, is doing great a few weeks after its premiere.
So far in its fifth week, after it was premiered to instant acclaim in cinemas on June 18, Ayinla has got an impressive N70.49 million in Nigerian box office.
According to CEAN, the figure the film has recorded in a very short time, came notwithstanding its limited release as it was released in 35 cinemas and language.

The main gist in ‘Ayinla’ revolves around events that lead to the tragic end of Apala legend, Ayinla Omowura.
Featured in the film includes Lateef Adedimeji as the titular character alongside Kunle Afolayan, Debo Macaroni, Bimbo Manuel, Bimbo Ademoye, Ade Laoye and Omowunmi Dada.
