Kingdom Kroseide has emerged winner of the Nigerian Idol season 6 competition. He was announced the winner after defeating Francis Atela at the grand finale aired live on Sunday, July 11.
After the audition a few months ago, 11 finalists made it to the competition Emmanuel Elijah, Clinton Francis, Beyonce Ajomiwe, Francis Atela, Dotun Deloye, Faith Onyeje, Akunna Okey, Daniel Ikechi, and Kingdom Kroseide, Faith Mac Ebiama, and Comfort Alalade.
Francis and Kingdom were able to make it to the grand finale, the duo battled for the next Nigerian Idol winner and Kingdom emerged as the winner.
During the grand finale event, both finalists performed songs by Fela Kuti. While Francis sang ‘Yellow Fever’, Kingdom sang ‘Gentleman’. Francis also thrilled the audience with the performance of Roju alongside popular singer and songwriter Chike.
Also, the audience had an amazing time when Kingdom and Cohbams sang ‘One hit song’ together.
Ayra Star, Patoranking and Ice Prince also performed their hit tracks at the event. Patoranking sang Celebrate Me.
With this win, Kingdom went home with a cash prize of N30 million, a brand-new SUV, 6 track EP recording deal, 3 music videos included, an all-expense-paid trip to Seychelles, and a weekend getaway to Dubai for 2.
