The Ministry of Works has set aside ₦2 billion in its proposed 2025 budget for acquiring vehicles for Senior Special Advisers (SSAs).

This funding is part of a broader ₦2,475,000,000 budget tagged under “Purchase of Motor Vehicles,” which is currently under review by the National Assembly.

President Bola Tinubu, during his recent presentation to lawmakers in Abuja, unveiled the 2025 budget titled “Budget of Restoration: Securing Peace, Rebuilding Prosperity.”

In addition, ₦120 million has been earmarked for “Provision of Operational/Safety Vehicles,” while ₦42,670,000 is allocated for a “Visibility Programme/Media on Federal Government Roads Construction” to promote ongoing projects.

The Ministry also plans to spend ₦10 million under the Economic Recovery Growth Programme (ERGP) on “Rehabilitation of Boreholes and Tanks at the Minister’s Block” to ensure a steady water supply at its headquarters in Mabushi, Abuja.
