The Peoples Democratic Party says it has taken over President Muhammadu Buhari’s campaign offices in his home state, Katsina.
According to the PDP, its Katsina State chapter has already captured most of President Buhari’s strongholds in the state.
The PDP National Chairman, Senator Iyorchia Ayu, stated this through his Senior Special Assistant, Media and Communication, Yusuf A. Dingyadi, while addressing newsmen in Katsina State.
According to him, the rising insecurity, poverty, disunity and economic backwardness experienced across Katsina came as a result of the failure of APC government in the state.
He added that the PDP would soon take over some other places occupied by APC.
Dingyadi urged members of APC to know that the PDP remained the only hope for the survival and unity of Nigeria, hence they should all support the PDP to victory in 2023.
On the lingering crisis in the PDP, he said, “We’ve already resolved all the problems that are affecting our party. There was a vote of confidence on the chairman from the Board of Trustees (BOT), National Executive Committee (NEC) and the Central Working Committee in solidarity with the national chairman to continue with the reforms and good works he has started.”
