Honestly, I pity, sympathise and weep for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s political adversaries, especially those who are betraying him after benefitting tremendously from his massive political structure and overwhelming network. No need to curse them because woes will surely betide them.
From my limited understanding of Nigeria’s politics, 1+1 is not always =2. It could be 11. Therefore, I pity and weep for those who are rejoicing that Tinubu’s political empire is crumbling simply because some ingrates are becoming Judases due to the carrots they are still eating, which they got courtesy of Asiwaju.
Some even stupidly believe and mock those of us who are unrepentant Asiwaju’s admirers and promoters that Tinubu is “finished”, politically. They erroneously assume and rejoice in their ignorance and foolishness that Tinubu and his massive followers have reached the end of the road. Hear this, you are jokers! A big shocker awaits you all from the stable of the grandmaster of political strategy. The Asiwaju of contemporary Nigeria politics.

Indeed, I pity and weep for the betrayers who have benefited greatly from Tinubu’s political large-heartedness, rode on Tinubu’s smooth back to fame and glory, but now allowing themselves to be used by Asiwaju’s political detractors who seek and plot to distabilise Jagaba’s political base in the South-West. Again, no need to curse them because woes will betide these political ingrates and modern day Judases.
I pity and sympathise with them because they have already shot themselves in the foot from the outset of their mischief. They thought they were wise, intelligent and smart. But they were foolish and stupid. They will soon realise that they are fools, living in fools’ paradise. It will soon dawn on them that they have been fooled, used and will be discarded like a used tissue paper. Eventually, they will end up secretly licking their wounds in their dark and lonely dwelling places beginning from 30th of May, 2023. Like others before them, later, they will quietly visit Burdillion Road, Ikoyi, Lagos, their tails between their legs, to prostrate and plead for forgiveness.
Certainly, while Tinubu’s detractors and those betraying him now will be relegated to the dustbins of political history, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will continue to be politically relevant, admired, adored and courted by all. His name will be written in gold in the golden pages of history. Tinubu will have the last laugh. He who laughs last, laughs best. By the grace of God, our socio-political and support organisation, Bola Ahmed Tinubu Admirers’ Movement (BATAM) will also join in the laugh.
