President Bola Tinubu will officially swear in seven new ministers on Monday, November 4, 2024, at the Council Chamber of the State House in Abuja.

This announcement was made by Mr. Bayo Onanuga, the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, through his X handle.

Onanuga stated, “President Bola Tinubu will swear in the new seven ministers tomorrow Monday.”

The new cabinet members include Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda as Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction; Muhammadu Dingyadi as Minister of Labour and Employment; and Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.

Additionally, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole will serve as Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment; Idi Maiha will be the Minister of Livestock Development; Yusuf Ata will take on the role of Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development; and Dr. Suwaiba Ahmad will be the Minister of State for Education.

The Senate approved the new ministers last week following a significant cabinet reshuffle on October 23, during which Tinubu reassigned 10 ministers to new portfolios, discharged five others, and nominated the seven new ministers for Senate confirmation.

All nominees were confirmed on October 31, 2024, after a thorough screening process.
