Tinubu Names Jami’u Abiola SSA Linguistics and Foreign Matters

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Jami’u Abiola as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Linguistics and Foreign Matters.

The appointment, which takes effect from 14th November 2024, was announced in a statement by Segun Imohiosen, Director of Information and Public Relations, on behalf of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

According to the statement, the appointment aligns with the provisions of the Certain Political and Judicial Office Holders (Salaries and Allowances, etc) Act 2008, as amended.

Jami’u Abiola previously served as the Special Assistant to the President on Special Duties in the Office of the Vice President.

President Tinubu tasked Abiola to collaborate closely with the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs and to leverage his experience in his new role.
