President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday met behind closed doors with the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Mr Ola Olukoyede.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Senate screened and confirmed Olukoyede as EFCC chairman.
His confirmation followed his nomination by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Former EFCC Chairman Abdulrasheed Bawa had resigned following his suspension from office by President Bola Tinubu, over alleged abuse of office.
National Coordinator and Chief Executive Officer of Social Investment Programme Agency, Mrs Halima Shehu, was among those confirmed by the Senate.
Before they were confirmed after a screening that lasted for three hours, salient questions were asked, particularly on financial crime issues, which were directed to Olukoyede.
Senator representing Borno South, Ali Ndume, asked and expressed concerns on clash of responsibilities with other similar agencies, specifically the National Financial Intelligence Unit.
