Tinubu Fulfills Promise: Port Harcourt Refinery Back in Operation — Bwala

President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, has celebrated the news of the Port Harcourt refinery commencing production, describing it as a testament to the president’s commitment to revitalizing Nigeria’s energy sector.

Taking to X, Bwala shared his excitement, saying: “President @officialABAT is making good his promise in the energy sector with the Port Harcourt refinery set to begin full operation. Thank you, Mr President.”

On the 26th of November, 2024, reports confirmed that the refinery had begun fuel production, marking a significant step in addressing Nigeria’s energy needs.

This milestone was verified by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL). According to Oluremi Soneye, the NNPCL spokesperson, the loading of fuel trucks is set to commence immediately.

“Port Harcourt Refinery begins production. Truck loading starts today, Tuesday,” Soneye announced.

This breakthrough highlights the administration’s dedication to delivering on its promises and advancing the nation’s energy landscape.
