…names replacement for sacked officers
President Bola Tinubu, on Monday, fired all Service Chiefs, the Inspector-General of Police and advisers.
He also approved the replacement of the Comptroller-General of Customs, Col. Hameed Ali (rtd).
The President also approved the replacements for the sacked Service Chiefs with immediate effect.
Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, who announced the development in a statement, said the President also announced their replacements with immediate effect.
The appointed Service Chiefs, the Inspector-General of Police and the Comptroller General of Customs are, therefore, to occupy their individual offices in acting capacity, pending their confirmation in accordance with the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

PRESIDENT TINUBU RETIRES ALL SERVICE CHIEFS, ADVISERS, COMPTROLLER GENERAL OF CUSTOMS, APPOINTS NEW ONES
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has approved the immediate retirement of all Service Chiefs and the Inspector-General of Police, Advisers, Comptroller-General of Customs from Service as well as their replacements with immediate effect.
The newly appointed Officers are:

It is to be noted that the appointed Service Chiefs, the Inspector-General of Police and the Comptroller General of Customs are to act in their positions, pending their confirmation in accordance with the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
