President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja today (Wednesday) for the United Kingdom to begin a two-week vacation as part of his yearly leave, according to a statement issued by his spokesman, Bayo Onanuga.
The statement noted that the President’s time away will serve as both a vacation and a working retreat, allowing him to reflect on the economic reforms introduced by his administration since taking office in May 2023.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja today for the United Kingdom to begin a two-week vacation, part of his yearly leave. He will use the two weeks as a working vacation and a retreat to reflect on his administration’s economic reforms,” Onanuga said.
The President is expected to return to the country at the conclusion of the leave period.
