Tems to Headline First FIFA Club World Cup Final Halftime Show

Nigerian singer Tems is set to make history as the headline act for the first halftime show ever at a FIFA Club World Cup final, scheduled for July 13 at MetLife Stadium in New York.

The global event, organised by advocacy group Global Citizen, will be streamed live and free of charge on DAZN.com, allowing viewers from around the world to experience the landmark performance.

Tems will share the stage with Colombian reggaeton star J Balvin and American pop icon Doja Cat, forming a dynamic trio of international talent for the major sporting event.

Reflecting on the significance of the upcoming show, Tems said, “We’re going to bring the world together for a beautiful moment to celebrate football, feel the unity that music brings, and improve the lives of millions of children through the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund. I can’t wait. See you at the FIFA Club World Cup final!”

Tems called the show “a moment to celebrate football and the unifying power of music,” pointing to its dual mission of entertainment and social impact.
