The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a suspected ritualist, Samson Oghenebreme, found in possession of human organs at Odomola community in the Epe area of Lagos State.
The 25-year-old suspect was arrested on April 25 after operatives attached to the Odo-Noforija Division received credible information from members of the public about his suspicious movement.
This was contained in a statement shared on the Force’s X handle in the late hours of Friday.
According to the statement, the suspect was transporting the organs from Edo State to a native doctor for the purpose of money making rituals.
The police stated that the recovered human organs have been deposited at the General Hospital, Epe, for preservation.

The statement disclosed that the case has been transferred to the Edo State Police Command for further investigation and prosecution.
The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Olohundare Jimoh, has emphasised the importance of timely information sharing, which played a vital role in the prompt apprehension of the suspect.
CP Jimoh urged all residents of Lagos State to remain watchful and report any suspicious activities or individuals to the nearest police station.
He assures the public that the Command remains fully committed to ensuring the safety and security of lives and property across the state.
