Music executive Paul Okoye, popularly known as Paulo, has fired back at human rights lawyer Deji Adeyanju for alleging that Nigerian superstar Damini Ogulu, famously called Burna Boy, played a role in the misfortune of his fellow artist Speed Darlington.
Reports reveal that Speed Darlington, also known as Akpi, was apprehended by officers of the Imo State Police Command in Owerri, marking his second run-in with the authorities.
His first arrest occurred on the 4th of October and after spending five days in custody, he was granted bail on the 9th of October.
The drama escalated when Adeyanju, in a post on X, accused Burna Boy of masterminding the recent arrest of Speed Darlington.
In a sharp rebuttal, Paulo took to Instagram on the 27th of November, 2024, to dismiss Adeyanju’s claim, branding him a “social media lawyer” and defending Burna Boy. Paulo wrote: “Lawyer Deji or whatever they call you, can you put respect on Burna Boy’s name? Why are you even mentioning Burna Boy’s name?
“You are nothing more than a social media lawyer! Lawyer my a*s. Get your facts right before you open your gutter mouth. Control your client.”
