Former Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika, on Sunday, accused the lawmaker who labelled Nigeria Air as a fraud of demanding five percent shares of the national carrier from him.
Chairman of the House Committee on Aviation, Nnolim Nnaji, had during a hearing by the House of Representatives, declared the launch of Nigeria Air a fraud.
Nnaji had picked holes in the project, lambasting the Federal Government for its poor handling.
But Sirika, who spoke on ARISE TV programme on Sunday, said the lawmaker approached him and demanded five percent shares of the airline for “him and his people”.
