Residents have stormed the streets of Jos, the Plateau State capital, on Monday in response to the ongoing killings by suspected Fulani militants.
The protest, organised by Christian leaders such as Rev. Polycarp Lubo, the Plateau State Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), commenced at Fwavwei Junction.
This demonstration obstructed key roads, resulting in significant traffic congestion that stranded numerous commuters.

The demonstration comes amid a recent surge in violent attacks throughout the state, with reports indicating that more than 100 individuals have been killed in the Bokkos and Bassa Local Government Areas over the last two weeks.
The protesters, carrying placards with various inscriptions, were seen marching toward the Rayfield Government House to demand urgent security intervention.
