Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has inaugurated the newly constructed Lagos State Commercial Court at Tapa, Lagos Island.
The governor during the unveiling noted that his administration’s goal is to create a legal framework that supports economic growth, encourages investment, promotes entrepreneurship, and ultimately simplifies the process of doing business in Lagos State.
Sanwo-Olu disclosed this in a statement accompanied by photos he shared on his X handle on Tuesday.
The statement read, “Today, I officially commissioned the newly constructed Lagos State Commercial Court at Tapa, Lagos Island.

“This building embodies our commitment to fostering a judicial environment that delivers timely, efficient, and specialized adjudication of commercial disputes.
“The commercial court has ten fully furnished courtrooms, complemented by libraries on each floor and well-equipped conference rooms.
“These facilities will not only enhance the judicial experience but will also serve as a refuge for those seeking justice in their commercial dealings.
“I remain committed to driving forward initiatives that not only stimulate economic development but also ensure that justice prevails in all corners of Lagos State.”
