The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, and his running mate, Datti Baba-Ahmed, on Sunday visited former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
They were received by Obasanjo at his residence in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
Photos of the meeting shared on social media by Obi’s ally and a former United Nations official, Oseloka Obaze, showed that the Senior Pastor of Trinity House, Ituah Ighodalo, a social justice activist, was present at the meeting.
The meeting with Obasanjo is believed to be part of the former Anambra State governor’s consultations ahead of the 2023 general elections.
