Nigerian artist Paul Okoye, fondly called Rudeboy from the P-Square duo, has reaffirmed his decision to part ways with his twin brother, Peter Okoye.
The long-standing rift between the brothers came to light when Paul revealed in an interview that Peter had allegedly reported him to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in an attempt to have him arrested.
During an Instagram live session on the 18th of September, 2024, the singer vented his frustration, stating that he shouldered the majority of the workload, while others reaped the benefits.
While speaking in pidgin, he said: “Those days of monkey dey work, baboon dey chop, I no dey do again. So I would rather continue working for myself. Every time, only me dey sing all the songs. I no dey do again.”
Recall that the singer recently mentioned that the conflict between him and his brother is far more complex than it appears.
The duo originally parted ways in 2017 but reconciled in November 2021.
