Pastor Jerry Eze, the founder of Streams of Joy International has been recognized as Nigeria’s highest earner on YouTube.
This ranking was announced by Playboard, a global data curation platform that tracks YouTube channel performance.
According to the report, Eze, who leads the popular online prayer platform New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD), with over 2.12 million subscribers and more than one million daily views, earns more than N7 million each day.
The former Communications Specialist with The World Bank, has become Nigeria’s top YouTuber, largely due to being the most “Super Chatted” content creator in the country.
Super Chat is a paid YouTube feature that allows viewers’ messages to be highlighted at the top of a chat for a set period, with longer message pins generating higher costs and earnings.
However, Eze receives 70 percent of the revenue from Super Chats.
Playboard data shows that his total earnings, primarily from live streams on his YouTube channel, amount to N7.81 billion within a specific period.
