Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, on Wednesday, paid a visit to Bola Tinubu, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and Kashim Shettima, his running mate.
The former governors of Lagos and Borno states received the vice-president in Abuja.
Since Tinubu became the standard bearer of the ruling party in June, Osinbajo has not participated in the APC presidential campaign activities.
There were speculations that both men fell apart after the presidential primary.
However, since the primary, both men have been spotted at events together.
“They are not enemies despite the fact that Osinbajo contested against Tinubu in the party’s primary in June,” a source privy to the Wednesday meeting said.
“Osinbajo’s visit to the former Lagos governor is merely in the spirit of the Christmas season. There is no grudge between both men.”
