Kebbi State is tightening its grip on security and it’s not business as usual. Led by Dr. Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu, the state government has rolled out a fresh wave of action under Operation Flush.
Backed by newly acquired patrol vehicles and a fleet of motorcycles, this move signals a serious escalation in the fight against crime. Governor Idris didn’t just approve the logistics he handled the distribution himself, making it clear where he stands.
“We will not tolerate insecurity; everyone must live in peace,” the governor declared.
The vehicles, stamped with Kebbi State Govt. Operation Flush, and rugged motorcycles are more than just transport. They are strategic tools designed to boost the reach and speed of security agents and vigilante groups.
The goal? Get boots and wheels on the ground fast, especially in remote areas where criminals have taken advantage of weak access and slow response.
Residents are being called in as partners.

Governor Idris urged them to speak up and share real-time intelligence that could help drive criminal elements out.
Yakubu Ahmed, Commissioner for Information and Culture, reinforced this: “Community collaboration is vital for this strategy to succeed.”
He explained that these assets are just one part of a larger plan. While the motorcycles will cut through rugged terrain, the patrol vehicles are built for coordinated patrols and surveillance in sensitive zones.
Kebbi is gearing up. The message is loud and clear: nowhere is too far, and no threat will go unanswered.
