Rivals Nigeria and Ghana will face off in a two-legged encounter for a place in the 2023 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) to be hosted in Algeria.
The Black Galaxies of Ghana defeated the Squirrels of Benin 4-0 aggregate for a chance to play Nigeria in the final qualification face-off.
Ghana thumped Benin 3-0 in Cape Coast and 1-0 in the second leg match in Cotonou.
Ghana will host the first leg on the weekend of August 26-28 in Cape Coast while the return leg will be played in Nigeria between September 1-3, 2022.
Nigeria missed out in the previous edition held in Cameroon after loosing 4-3 on aggregate to Togo in the qualification round.
Africa Nations Championship is a biennial tournament for players in their country’s domestic league.
