The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has disclosed that the organization has detained Oladitan Olufunmilayo, a 32-year-old female drug trafficker, with drugs on her way to Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Cannabis, cocaine, methamphetamine, tramadol, and rohypnol were among the narcotics the NDLEA named as being hidden in shoes and soap packages.
The declaration was made in a message published on Facebook on the NDLEA page on Sunday and signed by Femi Babafemi, Director of Media and Advocacy.
Part of the statement read, “Thursday November 3rd, operatives at the NAHCO export shed of the airport intercepted a consignment of different illicit drugs: Cannabis, Cocaine and Methamphetamine as well as Tramadol 225mg and Rohyphnol concealed in footwears and soap packs going to UAE, Dubai.
”A 32-year-old Olaitan Serah Olufunmilayo who presented the consignment for export was arrested.”
The statement added that two Pakistani businessmen and two Nigeriens were also arrested for drug trafficking.
